I am crushed and disappointed with the results of yesterday's election. Although i did not vote for the current President Elect, I will be spending a great deal of my time in prayer for him and our nation that I so love. Here are some verse that spoke to my heart this morning, I will have HOPE, Hope in my heavenly Father and His mighty power. I know a lot of people don't agree with my views and that's ok, but as a country we all need to fall on our knees and pray. Pray for our leaders, our people and all that we hold dear. Please join me today and every day, in kneeling before God and praying for America.
guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:5
May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. Psalm 25:21
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. Psalm 33:20

I took this picture on the 4th of July. However i think it is prefect for today. I am so proud to be an American and to have the freedoms that i have because I was born here.
Today after Sienna and I were done voting, I went over to my friends house to pray with a group of women. It was very powerful to have a group of mom's praying for our country. We spent some time in God's word and then prayed for the election, our nation and our families. It felt good to not only take action by voting, but to take spiritual action by praying. God knows the out come of this election and I leave all my fears and concerns in His mighty hands. No matter the turn out I know that God is in control.

1 Timothy 2:1-4
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Right now Daniel and I are making a lot of very important decisions, that will affect our life in a BIG way. My family is the most important thing to me. And I want to make sure that the decisions that we make right now are the right ones for all three of us. I will post later in more detail. But if you could pray for us, that we would do what God wants us to do. And that the Lord will be glorified in the choices that we make. Thank you.
