Orchids are a fascinating plant. The only bloom once a year and are very sensitive. Almost everyone i know has had an orchid and had it bloom once and then it dies. Bummertastic. But if taken care of just right, tended by a master guardian, then is flourishes. That reminds me of human life, how we need to be taken care of my a master guardian. How we need to be cherished, pruned, watered, and loved. God is the master, He created you! He knows what is best for you and how to make you flurish, and you know what? Sometimes that means getting pruned and that can be painful, but the beautiful blooms that come are worth it.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 1 Corinthians 5:17
My little sister Cameo is a amazing artist and paints big beautiful paintings. You should check out her work cameo.vox.com. She is doing a series of paintings with ants in them. And she had asked me to take some pictures of a dandelion for her. So she could do a painting of an ant looking up at the underside of a dandelion. Pretty cool, right?! So here is the series of Dandelions that i took for her. What do you think?
Cameo I hope i took enough and at the right angel. I love you! Hope this helps to make you painting just they way you want it! Love you!!
I love to watch children find dandelions and with amazing delight blow them out... and then go on to search for another. Why can't we be more like children sometimes?
As children we run and pick these flowers, because we can't wait to blow them out and make a wish. But as adults we walk right past them or pull them out of our yards because they are "weeds". Sometimes we need to stop in our crazy lives and make a wish. Because you never know, it might just come true.
This photo in color is really not impressive, but for some reason in black and white it is stunning. And it really drives home the nostalgia of the dandelion for me. What do you think?
