I am not one of those girls who love shoes. I almost always wear flip flops and if i have to wear shoes I will wear my pink converse. However I found these cute little green flats at a thrift store for $2.00. I love them and think they are so different and cool. I don't get to wear them much because they are satin and could easily stain. However being that today was St. Patrick's Day I thought it would be a perfect time to wear my green shoes. This photo isn't the best photo I have ever taken. However it made me smile, and I thought it was very fitting for today.
This photo was taken at a local coffee shop,. This is Aimee one of my many awesome youth group kids. We had gone to It's a Grind to hear a local Christian Band call Anvue. Aimee is a musician as well and loves to hear new music and meet other musicians. Aimee really enjoyed the music, and at this moment she is just listening to the awesome words to a song. The light was hitting her just right, and i love the emotion in her body language. This is one of my new favorite photo's.
This is Daniel's cousin Jon and his fiance Ruby. I was able to capture this moment as they were spinning around, being silly with each other. I took at least ten photo's and this was the only one that was not blurry, and it was the most perfect shoot, of a young couple in love.I am so happy for the two of them and can't wait until they get married. They are both truly wonderful people who love the Lord with all their hearts. It has been a blessing to see how happy Ruby makes Jon and it has been wonderful becoming friends with Ruby.
I love the joy that you see in their faces, and it truly is "As it Should Be".

I haven't posted a "Photo of the Day" in a while. I have been crazy busy and haven't been able to take photographs. However tonight this picture just stood out. And I love it in black & white, you can see the color version in my earlier post "Evening Walk".
I love this photo because of the moment that it captures. It truly is priceless! Daniel was making Sienna laugh and she was just so happy. She is in love with her daddy, and he can light up her face. I also enjoy the leaves on the wall behind her, they make a beautiful back drop for the picture, plus some lovely texture.
I think at least half of my "Photo of the Day's" are pictures of Sienna. But i don't care, I'm a mommy and i love my sunshine girl!

This is a photo of my daughter holding her baby cousins hand. It is so sweet. They both adore each other and just love being together. Sienna is 20 months old and my nephew is 7 months old and their hands are almost the same size. I just love how gently Sienna is holding Josh's hand. Just a priceless photo for my sister and I.
Sienna is my beautiful wild flower. I think that describes her best. She is a stunningly beautiful girl and has a very colorful personality. She is wild and silly and can handle herself, if she falls she almost never cries and just get right back up to playing. However she is sweet and gentle too. For all these reasons she is my most lovely wild flower. I love my beautiful wild girl!

This was the beautiful sunset I saw today. I am just in awe of my God and the creation He has given to us. God is truly an artist, those colors and the prefect placement of the clouds. Amazing!

I have to say my favorite subject to photograph is my daughter. She is so full of joy and wonder it is amazing to capture all that in photo's. This was taken during the easter egg hunt at her great grandma's house. Sienna had picked this flower and gave it to my mom, who put it in her hair. I love the perspective of the photo and I love the editing I did with it. Making it black and white and concentrating the color on the flower. Just a sweet picture of a sweet little girl.
I had a hard time deciding what photo to pick for the best of the day. However this photo just stood out. I love the blue skies and clouds behind this happy yellow daisy. I found a big patch of these all by themselves out in a field of green. It was stunning. I really like that this picture is not of the front of the flower, it seems as if it is looking up at the beautiful blues sky and enjoying the sun light.
I just loved taking pictures today, I would be happy with any one of them being "photo of the day".
