Youth Group: Esther Game Night!
Tonight was our last night spent in the book of Esther. We had fun playing games and remembering all of what we had learned in this book. I made a big Jeopardy board full of questions about what the kids have been learning about over the past month or so. They ROCKED! They knew almost every answer and worked hard for their prizes. It was amazing watching them get excited about the word of God. I felt very proud of them and their hard work in studying. Both teams were great, and worked hard. It's kind of sad when we finish a book, i wonder if the next one will be as good or if the kids will get a lot from what I teach next. However I know the Lord has a plan for these kids and will lead Daniel and I to the next lesson He wants us to teach them. I hope that the kids had fun tonight and that they look forward to a new book of the bible. Which by the way i haven't picked yet, oh no! hehe! Any ideas?
If you haven't read the book of Esther you should. It's really short and a super easy to read. You can finish it in a hour no problem. But for such a small book it is full of courage, love and God's plans. You will be inspired by one women's journey to save her people. You were created for a time such as now... so read about a women who God gave a kingdom so she could save His people. Really it's a amazing book!
