Splashing!
We had our first rain of the season this weekend. I love the rain, i love bundling up with blankets and eating comfort food. I love the smell after the rain and the way everything looks all wet and shinny. And most of all I love splashing in puddles, and my little girl loves it too. My mom had bought her some rain boots and a rain jacket this past April, however living in Southern California Sienna hasn't been able to use them until this weekend. She was so excited to put on her boots and jacket, once we were outside she ran to a puddle and jumped right on in. She kept saying "Splash... mama.... Splash!" it was too cute. After watching her enjoy the puddle, I felt the need to go out and by myself some rain boots. However right after the rain stopped the sun came out an dried up all the puddles :(. However the weather report calls for rain tonight, so maybe Sienna and I will be able to go puddle hopping tomorrow! Yeppie! Here are a few pictures of my splashing girl.
